    About the Project

A Trillium "Bridge the Gap" Collaborative grant was awarded to Doane House Hospice to close the divide between knowledge holders and technology. This initiative supports knowledge holders in their efforts to use wikis and blogs to create an interoperable environment. The multi-agency project team will produce one prototype e-learning module for hospice volunteer training from the 12 text base modules that comprise the Hospice of Ontario's (HAO) training manual. This module will be used to evaluate the wiki and blog process, to determine the cost of the remaining 11 modules and make a sustainability plan for HAO that could be duplicated for other non-profits.

Purpose of the November 16th Meeting

    Agenda

To address the need of the Futures Development report. This phase of the project brings together the partners that will engage in completing phase one and move to phase two of the funding application process. You or your team are invited to participate in phase one to better align with the project and to help determine contributions, costs, collaborative initiatives and solidify objectives. Futures objectives for the second phase of the collaborative will depend on the participation of its partners. Costing detail must be derived with relevant budget figures to apply for the next round of funding.
