About Bridge-The-Gap
Best practices dictate that hospice volunteers require a minimum of thirty hours of classroom training. This time commitment and other barriers of travel, inflexibility of time and place of training sessions, inability to attend all sessions in a series (as required by accreditation) and the lack of immediate opportunity to engage results in the loss of many qualified volunteers. The availability of high quality, trained volunteers is integral to the Ontario hospice sector’s ability to meet the growing demand for hospice services. -

Trillium Bridge-The-Gap Collaborative
A Futures Development report. This phase of the project brings together the partners that will engage in completing phase one and move to phase two of the funding application process. You or your team are invited to participate in phase one to better align with the project and to help determine contributions, costs, collaborative initiatives and solidify objectives. Futures objectives for the second phase of the collaborative will depend on the participation of its partners. Costing detail must be derived with relevant budget figures to apply for the next round of funding.
